FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Arctic High pressure remains in control today with more sunshine skies and continued cold conditions. A weak system will approach the region early Monday and continue through late Monday which may bring the region some snow showers, though no accumulation is expected. Tuesday and Wednesday look to remain dry for now with slightly below normal temperatures. Another weak system may approach the region on Thursday and Friday which may bring a rain shower. A more potent system (in the form of rain at this time) may affect the region next weekend with another blast of cold behind it.
